Determining location and insolation

With an optimal orientation and incline, the annual production of electric energy averages 1050 kWh/kWp.

The optimal orientation a roof, suitable for building a solar power plant, is south. The optimal incline is between 33° and 35°. We can change the incline with a supporting construction, for example, building 30° modules on flat roofs.

The surface of the PV modules must not be shady due to a roof construction, chimney, airshaft or trees surrounding the structure or any other objects, which could shade the surface of the modules.

Our company, Ekod d. o. o., can calculate an estimated amount of annual production of electric energy with the help of computer programs, namely on the basis of data of power plant location, roof incline, modules and converters.
